As you are preparing for your trip to Central Park South and Park Lane New York, below is a collection of answers to frequently asked questions about your stay.

Reservations

Hotel check-in is 4pm, while check-out time is at 11am.

A government issued Photo ID is required at time of check-in for all reservations.

Hotel check-in age is 21 years and older.

Park Lane New York is a 100% non-smoking hotel. Any violation will be subject to a $1,000 deep cleaning fee. If found in violation during a guest stay, Park Lane New York reserves the right to ask a guest to depart the hotel room without refund. Park Lane New York reserves the right to visually inspect all guest rooms after 24-hours of refusal of service to ensure the well-being of the guest and the condition of the room.

Yes. You may wish to visit our Accessibility Statement. Accessible guest rooms which may be selected while making your reservation online or you may email res@parklanehotelnewyork.com with your request.

Yes, Park Lane New York offers connecting guest rooms and you may place that request at time of reservation. This request is based on availability and cannot be guaranteed.

While Park Lane New York offers cribs on a complimentary basis as available, the hotel does not offer rollaway beds. Please ensure to book the appropriate room type(s) that may accommodate your traveling party.

Yes, the fees of $49 is mandatory and includes the following:

  • Secure High-Speed Wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) for up to 6 devices
  • All local, long distance and international phone calls
  • STAYCAST streaming for personalized entertainment in each guestroom
  • Unlimited access to digital news and magazines via PressReader
  • Unlimited use of our 24/7 access Fitness Center with Peloton Bikes, Treadmills, Elliptical Machines, free weights, and an outdoor stretching and yoga terrace
  • Unlimited use of business center terminals located at our Concierge desk
  • Luggage Storage until 11:00 p.m.

Guests of Park Lane New York may change or cancel their reservations 72-hours prior to arrival. Should a guest cancel after 72-hours prior to arrival, a one-night cancellation or no-show fee shall be applied.

Concierge

Yes, our multilingual Concierge is at your service to answer questions and assist with requests, including but not limited to:

  • Transportation services
  • Dining reservations
  • Theatre tickets
  • Spa appointments

Yes, for occasions and celebrations such as weddings, anniversaries, engagements and birthdays our Concierge can arrange to have something special for them upon arrival. Please contact concierge@parklanenewyork.com.

Our hotel does not offer an on-site spa; however, there are spa options within immediate walking distance of the hotel, and we would be delighted to assist with an appointment. Be sure to ask our Concierge for assistance with spa options and appointments.

We will gladly accept packages. Details below:

  • Packages will be accepted by Park Lane New York up to 5 days prior to a reservation.
  • There is a package handling fee of $10 per package per stay. Each package cannot exceed 10 pounds.
  • The name on the package(s) must match the name of the registered guests to be accepted and delivered. Otherwise, it will be returned to sender. No exceptions.
  • If a package arrives for a registered guest who has checked out of the hotel, the package will be returned to sender the next day. No exceptions.
  • For bigger shipments or group package rates, please contact the hotel directly. The packages will be stored in our mailroom and can be picked up upon arrival on a case by case basis.

    • 11 lbs. – 25 lbs. $25.00
    • 26 lbs. and above $50.00

Wellness and Fitness

Park Lane New York’s wellness and fitness center is located on the 5th floor and offers 24/7 access via guest room key. Our offerings will include Peloton Bikes, Treadmills, Elliptical Machines, free weights, and an outdoor stretching and yoga terrace. For the running or walking enthusiast, don’t forget about Central Park’s 843 acres across the street that offers a variety of running trails which may be found via Central Park Conservancy’s Running Guide.

 

Transportation

Park Lane New York is located at 36 Central Park South, New York, NY 10019. Our location on the southeastern area of Central Park South (59th Street) between 5th and 6th Avenue provides unparalleled access to the park and all other major midtown attractions (and some just a little bit off). Yes, we offer valet parking at a cost of $67 for standard vehicles per night and $77 for oversize vehicles. However, it does not include in and out privileges nor self-parking option. Valet parking is located at our 58th street entrance.

We are in close proximity to three major New York/New Jersey airports, including John F. Kennedy (JFK), LaGuardia (LGA), and Newark (EWR) airports in addition to more intimate airfields such as Teterboro (TEB).

There are several NYC Subway options that include the following:

  • “N, Q and R” are on 59th street and 5th Avenue.
  • “F” train is on 57th street and 6th Avenue.
  • “A, C, 1, B and D” are located at Columbus Circle on 59th street and 8th Avenue.

We do not offer complimentary shuttle services. Our Concierge can arrange a Town Car to take you from Park Lane New York to JFK Airport, LaGuardia Airport, Newark Airport, Teterboro or any other private airfield.

We can arrange for you to be picked up from JFK Airport and brought to Park Lane New York. The ‘Airport Pick-up’ option is offered at a premium rate because the driver parks the car and will greet you with a name sign upon your arrival. Pets

Yes, Park Lane New York is a Pet Friendly Hotel. In accordance with Park Lane New York’s standard pet policy, a maximum of 2 pets are allowed. A one-time, non-refundable pet hosting fee of $250.00 per stay will be charged to the guest folio upon check-in. Additionally, guests will be held liable for any physical damage caused by their pet, whether in Guest Rooms or in Public Areas of our Central Park Hotel.

Please note:

  • your pet must be under 40lbs and we do not accept cats.
  • you will be required to sign a “pet waiver” form on arrival.
  • you are prohibited from allowing your pets from loitering in the hotel’s public areas. This includes the areas where food is prepared or consumed and the fitness center
  • you must always keep your pet leashed when your pet is outside of the guestroom
  • you are never to leave your pet unattended
  • you must be present to receive Housekeeping service and your pet must be on a leash during these times
  • if your pet is left unattended housekeeping service will not be provided
  • you agree that should your pet be the cause of any guest complaints that the hotel reserves the right to charge an additional $500 disturbance fee per occurrence. Before such fee is applied, the hotel will contact you, either in room or at the cell phone provided in the pet waiver.
