Park Lane Hotel, a luxury 46-story hotel with panoramic views of Central Park and the New York City skyline, today announced that it will be hosting three dinners as part of the  Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by FOOD & WINE.

Each event will bring world-renowned chefs to the beautiful Park Room Restaurant, as part of the Bank of America Dinner Series. They are:

Fresh & Raw: A Vegan Dinner hosted by Matthew Kenney, Daphne Cheng and Tyler Kord
Thursday, October 16 | 7pm - 10pm | $275
The first dinner, taking place on Thursday, October 16, will feature raw vegan food by Chef Matthew Kenney. This James Beard nominee and FOOD & WINE Magazine’s Best New Chef (1994) is the founder of Matthew Kenney Culinary, a state of the art raw food culinary school in Santa Monica, California, as well as the proprietor of many health-conscious restaurants across the country.  Matthew Kenney Culinary’s Director of Culinary Operations Scott Winegard will cook alongside New York City chefs Daphne Cheng of Suite ThreeOhSix and Tyler Kord of No. 7 Sub, and together the chefs will explore the versatility of vegetables and grains and impress guests with the flavors, textures and combinations that can be conjured out of any backyard garden.

Evolution of Mexican Cuisine hosted by Enrique Olvera
Friday, October 17 | 7pm - 10pm | $275
The second dinner, taking place Friday, October 17, will feature food by Enrique Olvera, a man widely considered Mexico’s best chef and one of the few Mexican chefs to break into the American dining scene. His restaurant, Pujol in Mexico City, sits in the number 20 spot on Restaurant Magazine’s list of the “World’s 50 Best Restaurants”, and now Olvera has his eye on conquering the Big Apple.  In preparation for the opening of Cosme, his first restaurant in New York City, Olvera is serving up his innovative take on regional Mexican cuisine.

Exploring Belgium’s Countryside hosted by Kobe Desramaults
Saturday, October 18 | 7pm - 10pm | $275
And the last dinner, which will take place on Saturday, October 18, will feature Kobe Desramaults, a young chef who embodies the “locavore” trend. A native of northwest Belgium, Chef Desmaraults took over his family’s cafe In De Wulf in the small village of Dranouter, transformed it into a temple of local Flemish cuisine, and has since earned a Michelin star and caught the attention of many connoisseurs and national publications, including T: The New York Times Style Magazine. Chef Desmaraults uses only ingredients from nearby Flemish and French villages, relying on local purveyors and seasonal ingredients found by foraging to shape his ever-evolving menu. Wine expert Anthony Giglio will be leading a discussion of the evening's wine pairings.

“We are honored to host these renowned culinary experts for the Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival,” stated Tim Dowd, General Manager, Park Lane Hotel. “We have a longstanding tradition of serving the finest cuisine to our guests, and this event is a testament to this quality.”
