Over the last several months, we’ve seen some great places for dining spring up throughout Manhattan and even nearby in Brooklyn. Here are a few of the highlights:

Evelina
Evelina is a new restaurant in Fort Greene, an area of NYC that’s packed with great dining spots. But, this eatery seems a bit cooler than the rest. It’s modern and it has a menu broken into section for those who want to go straight for selections featuring vegetables, pasta and the like. Appetizers and entrees are in each section, and the restaurant offers an intriguing wine list that locals are enjoying.

SriPraPhai
Head to Brooklyn’s trendy Williamsburg neighborhood to find SriPraPhai, a second location for this restaurant that operates a long-time-favorite establishment in Queens. SriPraPhai sits only a couple of blocks away from the Bedford L. It offers a large menu (more than 10 pages) of salads, noodles, curries, pad Thais and more. This restaurant features 2 floors, a fountain and reasonable prices.

Tetsu
Tetsu in Tribeca is a Japanese restaurant from the chef of Masa, a Time Warner Center restaurant showcasing $595 per person meals. Dining at Tetsu won’t set you back quite that much. On the menu, you’ll discover salads, handrolls, skewers, noodles and sushi. The large, dark space highlights 2 bars serving cocktails and small bites.

Kubeh
The menu at this West Village features Middle-Eastern fare such as dumplings filled with vegetables and a variety of other ingredients. Dips and schnitzels also delight at this restaurant that’s somewhat of a sleeper yet those who have visited call it a hit.

Bareburger
Vegans, 2018 is the year of the plant-based burger in New York City! Bareburger, a burger chain based in NYC, has proclaimed this year as the opening of its all-vegan location. The future of burgers might just be at this NY restaurant, as the eatery will serve the acclaimed Impossible Burger along with falafel and many other tasty options.

Next Level
Next Level is a west coast burger chain that recently expanded to the east coast. It makes its debut in Whole Foods in Brooklyn on January 31, 2018. The menu is set to feature delicious burgers, fries, hot dogs and shakes!
